Kinesio Taping

image

The Kinesio Taping method is a therapeutic taping technique not only offering our clients the support they are looking for, but also rehabilitating the affected condition as well.

This method is a classic rehabilitative taping technique that is intended to assist the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles & joints. Taping does not restrict the joint range of motion in effect it provides extended soft tissue stabilization to prolong the benefits of manual therapy & exercises done within the clinical setting. Latex-free and wearable for 48 -72 hours at a time. This is safe for patients ranging from infants to elderly.

Kinesio taping method not only offers patients the support they need but also helps with rehabilitating the affected area by targeting different receptors within the somatosensory system. Kinesio tape also helps decrease pain and encourages lymphatic drainage by microscopically lifting the skin. This lifting affect helps forms convolutions in the skin thus forming interstitial space and allowing for a decrease in inflammation of the affected areas.
